Felicia Day is an actor, screen writer and gamer. She has appeared in several popular science fiction series including The Guild web series and Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

She is sometimes accused of being a fake geek girl, and other times heralded as a real geek against those "other" fake geek girls. She has recognised this for the ridiculous gatekeeping that it is:

One occasion that got a lot of press was Ryan Perez attacking her on Twitter. He was fired as a result.
