HICKTech is/was(?) a conference about Rural Technology organised by Emma Jane Hogbin and held in Owen Sound, Ontario.
It is notable for having had a high proportion of women speakers, around 50%. Emma Jane spoke about HICKTech in her OSCON 2008 presentation called Form an Orderly Queue Ladies.
