Generalised use Edit

The term came into more generalised use by at least mid-2012, during the Geek feminist harassment at OSCON incident, when someone identifying themselves with geek feminism, but not a contributor to this wiki or the associated blog, harassed an attendee at OSCON.

Other organisations/groups/events using the name "Geek Feminism" Edit

In August 2013 at Nine Worlds geek convention in London, there was a Geek Feminism track.

In August 2014, the Nerdy Girls Society/International Geek Girls Pen Pal Club held a Geek Feminism webinar (link goes to a youtube video).
