Karlie Robinson, Owner, Webpath Technologies
A true entrepreneur who bootstrapped Webpath Technologies with a $300 personal investment to over $100,000 in gross sales in less than two years while understanding that On-Disk.com's biggest competitor is a server offering free downloads.
She started her career with the American Red Cross. While her main focus was Disaster and Emergency Services, she also taught Health and Safety courses. A change of careers in 2000 led Karlie to technology sales and then the decision to focus solely on Webpath and then On-Disk.com
She merges her background in Not-for-Profit management, Business Management and Technology sales to advocate for Open Source. She is the lead Architect for many successful programs. Including the On-Disk.com Developers Portal and the Fedora Sponsored Media Project.
When she's not diving into Open Source development projects or taking care of business, family and home, Karlie can be found at SCORE Rochester counseling small business start ups. Her work with SCORE Rochester earned her the Gold member Award in 2009.
