RailsBridge is an organisation founded in 2009 to encourage newcomers, especially women, to join the Ruby on Rails community. RailsBridge was founded after the April '09 CouchDB presentation at the Golden Gate Ruby Conference, an incident which many believed made the Ruby community seem unwelcoming to women.

RailsBridge's activities include:

• Rails training for women
• Code sprints
