The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a professional engineering society with the stated mission to:

Stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.

SWE has many collegiate and professional sections in the US and world-wide. Each year SWE holds a national conference which serves as an oppotunity for not only organizational business but professional development. As part of the conference SWE holds one of the largest engineering career fairs in the world. The career fair is a joint effort with the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
