Origin of the term
- The term was not coined by a native Spanish speaker. It was some combination of Jeff Waugh, Mako Hill, Mark Shuttleworth and others, as I recall (I was in the room at the time)
- As of today, the term is still in use in Launchpad, i.e. bug 272826 is still open, though a decision was taken some months ago to change it (I just noticed this was the case and am trying to get things moving on it again)
