Proportion of women in the tech industry[]

Depending on exactly what is being surveyed, women usually represent 10-30% of the technology industry or ICT professions. The numbers vary widely depending on what you're looking at. Broadly speaking, there are fewer women in tech startups than in corporate IT, and fewer women at higher levels (technical management, etc). The numbers also vary widely from country to country.
